I've been here on 2 separate occasions and on each of those visits I've had a rockin entertaining time! I've enjoyed both the Philly, the Smoke House single and the Chix Club. The Philly...eh. The Smoke House excellent for a burger. Now that Chix Club was not only healthy but decent sized. I wasn't overly thrilled that the side salad had older leaf lettuce hiding on the bottom, but you come here for the music, the service and the entertainment. Both servers Joseph and especially Kristin were top notch w/checking back on our table, suggestive selling and just being good natured fun people. And hey...you get to watch a little performance too! As best as you can find for an old fashioned malt and burger shop! Tip: You can substitute turkey, chix or boca for any hamburger patty at no charge!

Though I appreciate the occasional veggie burger when I am famished, Johnny Rockets is only ever ok to me. I generally leave feeling bloated, full and gross. But I am grateful they have a vegetarian option for sure. Aside from my own personal food preferences, the employees at this location were all super friendly and bubbly. So A++ for them doing an outstanding job and caring to provide the best service possible.

With the gkids in town, it seemed like the place to go. Didn't think it would be great, but I was really surprised. Had a Chicken, avocado, bacon sandwich, just as good as it sounds! The kids like the waiters dancing, and there meals! Milkshakes to die for! Our waitress was so energetic, helpful, and upbeat, we were all enjoying our lunch and service. Will return for sure!

This was not my choice. We got hungry and looked at their menu. They had veggie burgers, so we went in. I guess the atmospehere is kind of fun. The whole fifties vibe. The wait staff breaks into a dance every so often. The food is ok. I mean it is a fast casual chain, so you don't have higj expectations anyway. My daughter and I both got veggie burger versions of their hamburgers. Mine was supposed to be a spicy burger choice. The people who deem these things spicy must have the most sensitive pallets ever, because I can't taste it. The fries were not bad. I recommend them. It is probably worth checking out sometime for the whole experience. Just don't go for the food.

Very pleased! My party of 3, all under 55 :-), had a very good meal. 1-Chicken and bacon sandwich with BBQ and an order of fries, 2- an order of fries and a chocolate milk shake (can't mess up a shake), 3-grilled checked sandwich with lettuce and tomato and mayo with fries. Total bill: $27.55

One time was enough . Ordered a hot dog. I saw it come up on the counter, just than they decided to go into their routine. Well by the time I got the dog it wasn't hot anymore. There seems to be a problem in the villages with getting good help in the restaurants. The help are either shell shocked at the hordes of seniors, some of them quite demanding, or they just don't get it.

Awful. The only reason this place gets two stars is the milkshakes are good. I've been to other Johnny Rockets locations with much better service and food. The waitress didn't seem to have a clue to as what she was doing, it took 20 minutes just to get our milkshakes, we were ready to walk out. The place was also infested with gnats which made our experience even worse, trying to constantly swat flies away. I got the original burger but with turkey burger and it was awful my bun just completely fell apart. The only way I would come back here is to get a milkshake to go.

5 bucks for a good burger and fries? Pretty awesome. My mom and I grabbed lunch here and were pretty satisfied overall with the service and food. She had the patty melt and it was kinda greasy, but really when is patty melt not greasy? This seemed like a pretty hot spot in the Villages with all the tables taken and a bit of a wait. It's family friendly and seemed like the place to go in Sumter Landing.

johnny rockets is rocking in the villages... to a degree. during my tour of sumter landing dining, we ended up here one afternoon, because I knew it was a chain and have been to it before, I knew I wouldn't be completely appalled. Johnny Rockets does a decent cheeseburger and fries combo. Everything seemed pretty much at par with the standard franchise level. Nothing was out of the ordinary amazing. My mom and I split a philly cheesesteak sandwich, because she said it was a large order, and you can definitely share that sandwich for sure. the ambiance is pretty much consistent. one plus, we sat on the patio because we were walking my dog, and they had no problems having my 17 year old dog chilling with us while he was napping on the floor. that's a good sign at least. all in all.. judging by the massive amount of grandkids in the joint, it seems this place would a be a fine dining location for families visiting.

This place has gone WAY down hill. It's dirty, the staff is indifferent and my hubby and I waited 45 minutes for 2 milkshakes.... on a dead night with 2 other couples in the place. Unacceptable. I'd suggest going to Hagen Daaz instead.

This place was cool when it first opened with Lake Sumter landing. it was nice and clean and they used to sing and dance every 15 minutes, best of all it was not that pricey. I liked it. Unfortunately poor management has struck again with another establishment. The interior is all reflective chrome in the style of a 50's diner, which normally would be cool. In this case the chrome is greasy and grimy only to hint the beautiful shine it once had. The employees all seem very unhappy to be there, and each time I have gone there the wait is long, the food is sub par and the service is terrible. There is a bar area that wraps around the kitchen area and you can watch as the kitchen staff prepare food. You would think that they would at least keep the kitchen clean, however there is disgusting layers of filth all over the floor behind the counter. I have been in the food service industry and I wouldn't recommend this spot to anyone. This place needs to either change management or just make way for a decent restaurant with more reasonable prices.

Johnny Rockets is one of the loveliest chains on my "fast food list". I ordered a hamburger and chili fries. This is one of the diners that have the feel like you are going back to the 1950's, the food, service, and cleanliness. We were served by a nice and friendly server named Ashley that was very well trained and definitely knew how to please customers. The bathrooms were very clean, and the service was exceptional for a Johnny Rockets.
